Register HERE for the 2022 SPD Conference!

The SPD's 2022 Annual Criminal Defense Conference will be held in-person November 3 and 4 at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee, located at 333 W. Kilbourn Avenue.

Like pre-pandemic days, the Conference will be held in-person with up to six tracks of programming to choose from.

In order to offer people a virtual option, we will live-stream the sessions in the Regency Ballroom. Virtual attendees will have only one track (the Regency Ballroom track) of programming.

Please complete this form as soon as possible if you plan to attend. People have the option to attend both days or just one day of the Conference.

We anticipate approval for 14.5 CLE, including up to 4 ethics credits

Ethics sessions will be offered on both days: one ethics session on Thursday and three ethics sessions on Friday.

Fees are as follows:
ATTORNEYS ACTIVELY TAKING PUBLIC DEFENDER CASES, PUBLIC DEFENDERS FROM OTHER STATES, CIVIL LEGAL AID ATTORNEYS, ALJs, JUDGES, AND COURT COMMISSIONERS:
$350 both days/$250 one day.

PRIVATE BAR ATTORNEYS NOT ACTIVELY TAKING PUBLIC DEFENDER CASES:
