Apply for the John R Justice Student Loan Repayment Program

The John R. Justice (JRJ) Student Loan Repayment Program provides funding to help with loan repayment for eligible Wisconsin prosecutors and public defenders who agree to remain employed in these positions for at least three years. The JRJ Student Loan Repayment Program was named for the late John Reid Justice of South Carolina to encourage qualified attorneys to choose careers as prosecutors and public defenders and to continue in that service. The application is due Feb. 1, 2026.
