SPD has attorneys that specialize in Racial and Ethnic Diversity, Mental Health, Family Defense, Forensic Science & Forensic Medicine, Youth Defense, Pretrial Motions, Immigration, and Chapter 980 (Civil Commitments). Each specialty practice has a coordinator available to consult with defense attorneys.

ACD registers private bar attorneys to the State Bar’s criminal defense listserv, Defendernet, and the National Association for Public Defense listserv at no cost. Attorneys are also encouraged to join the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Evidence.com is a digital evidence management system that can be used to store, view, and share discovery. Features include:

• Video and audio auto-transcription (searchable & editable) 
• Video editing

Limited licenses are available for certified private bar attorneys who meet certain criteria.
